AirFlow in Prague 10: gentle stain removal

Coffee, tea, wine or smoking leave stains on your teeth. AirFlow helps remove them gently.

AirFlow is a way of cleaning teeth with a jet of water, air and fine powder. It removes plaque and stains, even from places your toothbrush struggles to reach.

How it works

What AirFlow can and can’t do

AirFlow removes soft plaque and discolouration from the tooth surface. It won’t remove tartar, though – that requires the instruments we use during full dental hygiene.

AirFlow is not whitening. It restores your teeth’s natural colour by removing deposits. If you’d like a lighter shade, take a look at teeth whitening.

AirFlow and full hygiene

Part of follow-up hygiene

During follow-up dental hygiene, AirFlow is included in the treatment and the price.

On its own

You can also book AirFlow on its own. We’ll assess at your check-up whether it’s enough or whether full hygiene is better.

AirFlow FAQ

Is AirFlow painful?

AirFlow is a gentle method, but everyone’s sensitivity is different. If you have sensitive teeth or exposed tooth necks, let us know in advance.

Can AirFlow replace dental hygiene?

No. AirFlow removes plaque and discolouration, but not tartar. That’s why we most often combine it with full dental hygiene.

How often should I have AirFlow?

It depends on how quickly stains build up on your teeth. You’ll get a personal recommendation at your visit.
