A quick check and touch-up clean. We’ll let you know at your previous visit whether it’s right for you.

Cleaning with a jet of water, air and fine powder. We’ll assess at your check-up whether it’s enough on its own or whether a full hygiene session is better.

It may be gingivitis or periodontitis. The sooner we take a look, the better.
Periodontitis is an inflammation of the tissues that hold the tooth in the jaw. It often starts quietly – with gums bleeding when you brush, sensitivity or bad breath.
During regular hygiene, we remove tartar above the gumline. With periodontitis, the space below the gumline also needs cleaning, where bacteria and tartar build up in so-called periodontal pockets. This treatment is called deep scaling.
A detailed gum examination (periodontal chart) shows what condition your gums are in. Based on it, we’ll suggest the next steps.
Start with initial dental hygiene. During that visit, we’ll agree together on what makes sense next.
